Friday iPhone Dump

I've been MIA this week because I've been insanely busy but today I am linking up with Jennifer for Friday iPhone Dump

One. I am guaranteed to have a great time when I hang out with Katie. I'm lucky to work with such awesome people.
Two. Happy birthday to my sweet baby bear! Love this guy like a brother.

Three. My little nugget loves his blankets and has started this thing where he likes to roll around with it. Sometimes he gets stuck and doesn't even seem to mind.
Four. Somebody got some sunglasses this week. If only I could find some baby aviators.

Five. Hugs Not Drugs! I just love that Mister Rogers is on this. Anything Mister Rogers is awesome in my book.
Six. Someone figured out how to sleep with his bottom in the air. Precious.

Just for Sh!ts and Giggles

A couple little things that I think are funny. Enjoy..
I cannot get over how much I love these girls. I want to be friends with them.

Welcome to my 20th birthday. Who knew they made boob stress balls?

Friday iPhone Dump

It's Friday! Which means I am linking up with Jennifer again for Friday iPhone Dump!

ONE. Oliver doesn't mind hanging out in boxes. He loves his new teether we got from our Citrus Lane box.
TWO. After a long night at work, it's so amazing to come home to this sweet little face. Even if it is past his bed time.

THREE. I cannot believe how much Oliver has grown. He is beginning to look like a little boy now!
FOUR. My work had a bowling party the other night because we raised so much money for the Hunger Walk this year. I raised over $600 myself!

FIVE. I am seriously so thankful for all of the people I work with. We have such a great time together inside and outside of work. Love you ladies <3
SIX. This is my very good looking friend, Hill. He is the best. He has the sweetest bond with Oliver.

SEVEN. Oliver has been loving all the different foods he is trying. The only one he hasn't gotten used to yet is peaches.
EIGHT. This kid loves to sleep with his face in something at all times. Blankets, my chest, just straight up face down.. it doesn't matter to him as long as he has something to snuggle.

Flashback Friday

Flashback Friday: FaceTime/ iChat Edition

One. Beth Anne and I FaceTime ALL THE TIME. We even drink together via Facetime. I don't know if that is cool or sad? Either way, we have fun doing it!
Two. Sometimes Tabitha and I do weird things. I had underwear and a helmet on my head.
Three. There is a group of 4 of us friends that used to do everything together. It's a lot harder for us to get together now that we all have separate lives. So, we make do by FaceTiming together :)
Four. I swear she looks like Dopey the dwarf here. Anyone agree?

Five: Emo faces.
Six: This was me and my friend Jennifer years ago iChatting to deal with the separation. We lived on opposite coasts and still had a great time together!
Seven: Meet my friend Beth Man.
Eight: Sometimes Monkey tries to teach Oliver bad habits...

Wanted!

My obsession with subscription boxes doesn't seem to be going away. I was hoping I would lose interest in them or something before I get myself into trouble. If I plan on getting any more boxes I'm going to have to cut my budget in other places. Which might just have to happen because I really want these 4 boxes.

Stork Stack: Each month Stork Stack sends you a box with 5 of their favorite items for babies. It's $27.99 a month which passes the $25.00 per box limit that I've set for myself. I subscribe to both Citrus Lane and Bluum so I dont NEED this box but the more fun stuff I have for Oliver, the better!

Whimsey Box: If I had to choose just one box to add to my collection, it would be this one. Every month they send you a box with supplies for DIY craft projects along with project ideas. Something else that catches my eye about them is that the box that it comes in is designed to be reused as storage. The box has a velcro closure and a metal card holder to label the box. This is right up my alley and it's only $15 a month. They're referral program is pretty awesome too. For every person you get to sign up for a Whimsey Box they send you a box for free plus your friend gets $5.00 off. Don't be surprised if yall see me reviewing this box in the next few months.
Sock Panda: This is certainly something that I don't need but I mean, how cool would it be to get a cool pair of socks in the mail every month? I wouldn't complain. You get to choose between a "bold" and "cool" style. I would definitely pick the bold. It's only $11 a month or $22 if you want to get two pairs.
Glossybox: As if I need another beauty box. This one just seems so cool though. Each month you receive a box with 5-6 luxury size cosmetics and wellness products. I think $21 a month is a great deal considering their boxes usual have some pricey items in them!

Which boxes do you subscribe to? Which boxes are you dying to have?

Thursday Thoughts

I'm linking up with my favorite blogger, Jennifer, for Thursday Thoughts.

  • I haven't read any good books lately. Has anyone stumbled across any great books lately? I prefer them to be quick and easy just because I don't have a ton of time to spare but I really miss reading.
  • So, last week I mentioned wanting to get into selling either Pampered Chef or Tupperware. I think I want to go the Pampered Chef route. I have a lot going on in May so I might wait until June to get started. Before I start I wanted to see if anyone will be interested in hosting some online parties? If you are interested, let me know so I can write down your name and info, that way when I do get started I can have you on my list already!
  • Have you ever thought about how weird it is for companies to sell items that are "one size fits most" (I think it usually claims "most" now instead of "all")? I have a pair of spandex leggings that claim to be one size fits most. Not even close to true. I'm not super thin but I'm a pretty average size and I have a petite frame and these still give me muffin top. I can only imagine that if I had a but at all that these pants wouldn't go up all the way. I can understand when robes, hats, socks, etc. come in one size only but it's just weird to me when shirts and especially pants, are sold that way.

Whiny Wednesday

Welcome to rant day.

  • I HATE that Oliver is teething. Yeah, it really sucks listening to him cry, but more than that I just feel so bad for him. I know that it hurts to have a toothache. I can't even imagine how it feels to have several teeth trying to pop out. I am battling feeling frustrated and feeling sad for him. I cannot wait for the day that he gets his first tooth just so there will be some sort of reward for all of this pain. Poor baby.
  • I think this e-card is really funny. But it brings up a good point. When I was breastfeeding I wasn't comfortable whipping out my boob in a crowd of people but I don't really care if other people do. If you're comfortable enough doing that then who am I to tell you to cover up? I also understand why other people don't want to see people breast feeding in public. The thing I don't understand is when people are grossed out about breastfeeding in general. Like when people pin it as something sexual or something. I had never heard of people being weird about it until people started asking me if I was breastfeeding. I just don't think I will ever understand that. Breastfeeding is natural, beneficial (for both you and the baby), and it's free!
  • The weather is getting so nice here (some days) and I'm ready to bust out some dresses and shorts but my legs are soooo white. I must get some self tanner pronto so I can go in public without feeling like a ghost. But not only am I super pale, I also have some nasty bruises from falling at work over a week ago. I'm such a mess haha.
  •  My (ancient) washing machine finally broke last week. Not being able to do laundry every day drives me NUTS. It was a good thing that I had to stay up in Atlanta for the weekend because if I had to be at home watching the laundry pile up until our new washer and dryer arrived yesterday, I would have thrown a fit. Do other people do laundry every day or is that just me?
